1. Controller

NitroXHost, Chamber or Commerce number 99748274 and VAT identification number NL005408779B27, is the controller for personal data processed through FormulaLegends. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to info@nitroxhost.com.

2. Personal data we process

We may process your username, email address, date or birth, password hash, team and game data, account role, purchases and payment references, IP address, device/browser information, login and security logs, messages, reports, moderation records, support communications and records or legal acceptance.

3. Why and on what legal basis

• Contract: account creation, authentication, game progress, competitions, friends, messages and delivery or purchases.
• Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, service improvement, abuse prevention, diagnostics and moderation, balanced against your rights.
• Legal obligation: tax, accounting, lawful requests and compliance records.
• Consent: only where we specifically ask for optional consent; consent can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Age information

Your date or birth is used to verify the 16+ account requirement and to demonstrate compliance. Do not create an account if you are under 16.

5. Recipients and processors

Data may be shared with hosting, database, email, security, analytics and payment service providers only where needed to provide the service. Payment providers receive the information required to process transactions. Authorised admins may access reported content and moderation information. We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use an appropriate legal safeguard where required, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual clauses.

7. Retention

Account and game data are normally kept while your account is active. Security logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security and dispute handling. Payment and accounting records may be retained for the legally required period. Reported messages and moderation records may be retained while a case is active and afterwards where necessary to defend claims or prevent repeated abuse. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, unless law requires retention.

8. Cookies and local storage

FormulaLegends uses strictly necessary session cookies and similar storage to keep you logged in, protect forms and remember essential settings. Non-essential analytics or advertising cookies must not be activated without any consent required by law.

9. Security

We use measures such as password hashing, access controls, secure sessions, rate limiting, backups and monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you believe your account or personal data has been compromised.

10. Your rights

Depending on the GDPR and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and you may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority or the competent authority in your country. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Automated decisions

Game simulations and rankings use automated calculations for entertainment and game balancing. They do not produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
